From Carlow, Azure Days were Gala Hutton (vocals & guitar), Liam O’Brien (guitar), Ray Lowry (bass) and Gerry Farrell (drums). At one time tipped to be the next big thing they achieved popularity with tracks ‘The Old Tradition’ and ‘Blew My Clouds Away’. Gala later performed with 79Cortinaz, The Trains, and Sugar Factory and can currently be seen treading the boards with Fans Of Adventure who also feature Dave Dorgan (Candy Apple Red, Candyshop).
