The National Print Museum at the Beggars Bush Barracks in Dublin 4 is currently hosting an exhibition ‘Green Sleeves‘ which looks at the Irish record cover from 1955 to the present day. Curated by Dr Ciarán Swan and Niall McCormack (Jubilee Allstars and hitone.ie) the exhibition runs until 1 October 2017 and admission is free. The two curators were interviewed by Dave Fanning on Sunday May 14th and the good news is that a catalog including essays and artwork is in the pipeline. Thank you John Foyle for the photo.

Special curator tours of the exhibition will take place on the following dates:

Saturday 13 May, 14.30
Saturday 27 May, 14.30
Saturday 10 June, 14.30
Saturday 24 June, 14.30

Places for the guided tours are limited so booking at education@nationalprintmuseum.ie is essential.

  1. Brilliant site!! I was sent a link earlier to The Candyshop’s session in ’87. Great memories, and good to hear The Harvest Ministers ‘Teresa’ too! I was very lucky to be a member of both bands!! 🙂

  2. Thank you Mark! Nice to hear from you 🙂
