The Forget Me Nots (1990 Session)

forgetmenots

From Dublin, The Forget Me Nots were Michelle Burrowes & Eithne Flynn (vocals & rhythm guitars), Maurice McGrath (lead guitar), Cormac Colman (bass guitar) and Justin Healy (drums). They recorded this Fanning session in 1990 and it was produced by Ian Wilson & Jim Lockhart. In 1991 Mark Walsh (bass) joined the band and in between, Tony McGuinness (Aslan) toured and played on some of the album (‘Hullabaloo‘) recordings.

  1. Alan Halford Says:

I absolutely loved the Forget-me-Nots. Their CD Hullabaloo is still one of my most prized possessions!

  2. The bass player on those tracks is the original FMN’s bassist, Cormac Colman. Mark Walsh joined about 1991 and in between, Tony McGuinness from Aslan toured and played on some of the album recordings. All great guys.

  3. Great band and Maurice and Michelle are still writing great stuff – I had the pleasure of working with them in Dublin on a CD about four years ago.
