Dave Couse in for Paul McLoone this week

dave couse

Radio listeners missing their weekly ration of A House frontman Dave Couse of a Sunday night will be happy to hear that he is back on our airwaves, temporarily at least, all this week on TodayFM. Dave will be in Paul McLoone‘s chair from 9pm – midnight, Monday – Thursday this week while Paul is busy with The Undertones. Dave last sat in back in April and he was kind enough to say some very nice things about us and play a few tracks which we suggested. So turn off the TV and tune in your radio, who knows, you might like what you hear!

  1. Yay! I was away in April, so missed those shows, but happily listening now! šŸ™‚

  2. Thomas Erbsloh Says:

    great

  3. Can you tell me what he played in April from the fanning sessions? There was one track that was outstanding that I can’t recall the name of.

  4. I know DAVe doesn’t usually do playlists, but there have been a bunch of songs over the last 2 nights that I have never heard before! It’s been great hearing DAVe on the radio again. Maybe the Undertones will stay on tour awhile longer? šŸ™‚

  5. Headaake Says:

Yep, he should have his own show – and play whatever he likes – on saying that, if this somehow prompts him to reform A House, I’ll be fine with that too!

  6. Warren, the 3 tracks were:

backwards into paradise – piece of paradise
swinging swine – them ghosts do come
the slowest clock – mothers of america

i’ll add links later but all are on the site..

  7. regarding a house reforming i recall about 5 years about they where asked/inquired but declined!
