Hex Opera (1986 Demo)

From Derry, Hex Opera were Sean Campbell (lead vocals, guitar), Gary Hume (backing vocals, guitar) Jeff Beales (bass) & Brian McMonagle (drums). According to Mickey Bradley‘s introduction they disbanded in 1986. I’m guessing the demo dates from the same year but if anyone knows better please let me know. The tracklisting on the demo was ‘Wasted’, ‘Rosanna’ and ‘She Said’. Thank you Jeff for the photo.

Hi, the other band members were Sean Campbell, lead vocals and guitar, Jeff Beales on Bass & Brian mc Monagle on drums. Sean is still doing his music in Clonmany as far as I know..Brian & Jeff , I havent heard from for years..I am playing in a band called the Stringfellas from just before Christmas..We have played almost every weekend since we started , mostly around Carndonagh were they still love live music…all covers, Stones, T Rex Horslips etc..The other songs on the Hex Opera demo were called Rosanna and She Said…I lost the tape about 3000 years ago..but we were hardly the beatles!! Good to rack up all the old memories..Cheers Gary
